Latent develops a photograph the way a darkroom does: it builds a negative, then prints it onto paper. A developer, in the old sense of the word.
Latent is an independent photographic house, founded by a photographer, in Joun, Lebanon. It makes developers, instruments for bringing a photograph up from its negative, and it makes them slowly, one hand on the enlarger.
A photograph is developed, not corrected. The materials are real, spectral models of film and paper, studied from the originals, and a small line of emulsions of the house's own. Nothing is invented by a machine, the camera shoots RAW, and the one neural tool in the building fills the space behind what you chose to remove, nothing more.
What you photographed is what develops.
